The different USES of mylar films are determined by its characteristics. Polyester film for different USES has different requirements on raw materials and additives as well as processing technology, its thickness and technical indicators are also different; In addition, only BOPET has multiple USES.
Hydrophilic film
Therefore, films classified by use are BOPET. It can be divided into the following categories:
1. Electrical insulation film. Due to its good electrical, mechanical, thermal and chemical inertia, good insulation performance, high resistance to cross voltage, used for electronic and electrical insulation materials, the standard thickness is: 25 m, 36 m, 40 m, 48 m, 50 m, 70 m, 75 m, 80 m, 100 m and 125 m (micron). These include wire and cable insulation film (thickness 25-75 m) and touch switch insulation film (50-75 m).
2. Capacitor film. It has the characteristics of high tensile strength, high dielectric constant, low loss factor, good thickness uniformity, good electrical performance, large electrical resistance and so on, and has been widely used in capacitor medium and insulation layer. The standard thickness is 3.5 m, 3.8 m, 4 m, 4.3 m, 4.8 m, 5 m, 6 m, 8 m, 9 m, 9.8 m, 10 m, 12 m.
3. Protective film. It has excellent properties such as good transparency, high stiffness, good thermal stability, smooth surface, excellent winding performance, even longitudinal and longitudinal tensile performance, and waterproof, oil proof and chemical proof. Special for pictures, certificates, documents and office supplies protection packaging, make it as a protective film after hot stamping smooth and beautiful, can keep the original clear and no deformation. The commonly used standard thickness is 10.75 m, 12 m, 15 m, 25 m, 28 m, 30 m, 36 m, 45 m, 55 m, 65 m, 70 m, of which 15 m and above are mainly used as a laser anti-counterfeiting base film or high-end card film.
4. Universal film. With excellent strength and dimensional stability, cold resistance and chemical stability, widely used in composite packaging, photosensitive film, metal evaporation, video recording and other substrate.
5. Nano PET film
High transparency and glossiness: the particle size of nanoparticles is between 1 and 100nm, smaller than the wavelength of visible light, and has little influence on the transparency of thin films.
High barrier property and thermal performance: the use of nano materials with special performance and unique processing technology, make the nano materials in nanoscale evenly dispersed in PET substrate, by stretching orientation in the process of film production, thus make the PET film presents very excellent blocking performance, O, CO2 and H2O transmittance exponentially decline, heat-resisting performance is greatly improved, can enlarge the application field of PET, greatly extend is the shelf-life of the packaging, can also be used for hot filling or disinfection sterilization.
